About Us

English Tree Care was initially established in 1998 with the aim of providing professional tree and woodland management services. At the outset, the company provided residential tree surgery and forestry maintenance services to a number of local landowners.  The company has since expanded and undergone significant changes, with clients now coming from across a wide variety of  the public, private, commercial and utility sectors. However, we still believe that  ‘small is beautiful’ and have therefore intentionally remained  as a smaller, busy and privately run company with the capacity to deliver  services far greater than our size would indicate and at a sensible price. This ensures that our clients are always able to contact someone who is actively involved with the organisation and delivery of their work.

Along the way, we have invested and gained other external accreditations to demonstrate our commitment and compliance to health, safety and environmental practices and legislation.

All of this would never be possible without our skilled and motivated staff. Our teams have demanding standards, comprising of staff who hold academic qualifications in addition to their range of vocational skills. Staff members are qualified in a wide range of chainsaw and associated arboricultural and forestry operational skills, pesticides, machinery, first aid, Traffic Management, Health and Safety,  CSCS registration, Risk Assessment, Wildlife and Protected Species Awareness and Fire Safety.

All of these factors ensure we consistently undertake work at the highest level of  both technical, safety and environmental  compliant standards whilst maintaining our focus on a customer centred service. So whether you own only one tree or an extensive estate, but demand the same consistent standards of work as our larger public sector and commercial clients then contact us.
