English Tree Care was established by Paul Park in 1998. We are the first Harrogate based company to gain the respected 'Approved Contractor' accreditation from the Arboricultural Association (see www.trees.org.uk) after stringent external assessment in all areas of the business. This ensures our clients receive the highest levels of technical standards and safety compliance .

The company has grown and undergone significant changes but has intentionally remained as a smaller and privately run business. This has ensured we are able to consistently undertake work to an exceptional standard and maintain our values on the importance of a customer centered service.

Our team has demanding standards and is made from skilled and motivated people who are all individually selected to join and represent our company. All our staff hold academic qualifications , as well as a range of vocational qualifications in chainsaw and associated arboricultural operations, pesticides and machinery. Staff members are trained in emergency first aid, with principal staff having CSCS cards (construction skills certificate scheme), Traffic Management qualifications, CRB (criminal records bureau) disclosures and undergone training in Risk Assessment, Wildlife and Protected Species Awareness and Fire Safety.
